Registration
- A completed enrollment is counted as payment successful.
- Participants must study the rules and regulations listed below carefully. Participants who completed the registration process agreed to be abided by the rules and regulations of the event that has been signed up.
- Participants aged 15 or above must successfully register as a KTSP member before registration. In the future, they will be able to reserve sports facilities and community activities as members.
- If a false KTSP membership number or a different membership number is used, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant without a refund.
- Participants should register to their respective age group.
- Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the participants upon successful registration. If you do not receive the confirmation email after your registration, please check your Spam mailbox first, otherwise, please contact us by email [email protected] or call (852) 2117 1650 for assistance.
- Late or on-site enrollment will not be accepted.
- Incomplete enrolment will not be accepted.
- Once the entry is accepted, the entry fee is non-refundable & non-transferable under any circumstances.
- Repeated entries will be counted as a single entry. The extra fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another applicant or other race. Also, the submitted form and information will not be returned.
- The event will be temporarily halted or cancelled if emergency situations occur due to natural and man-made disasters (flood, wildfire, landslide, collapse of tree, earthquake, damage of road, fights, etc.) during the event. All participants should immediately go to a safe place to stay temporarily.
Race Pack
- An email notice regarding collection of race packs will be sent to the registered participants at least two weeks before the event day.
- Participants show either the printout or electronic version of the notification email to our staff to collect the event materials.
Health and Safety Advice
- Participants should make sure their health conditions are suitable for the Event. In cases of doubt, please seek medical advice in advance.
- Participants should understand the event content and nature and participating in the Event requires physical exertion. Participants should be in sound medical condition capable of participating in the Event. The Organizer suggests all participants monitor their own physical conditions deemed fit and capable for participating in the event. In case you are feeling sick during the Event, you should immediately stop the activity and do seek help from the onsite race officials.
- Participants should take protective measures against UV, such as applying sunscreen, wearing caps and drinking water.
- People who are pregnant or with chronic diseases, like heart disease and high blood pressure, are not recommended to participate in the event.
- The Organizer reserves the right to disallow or disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event and such person shall accept.
- Participants are advised to purchase their own insurance cover if necessary.
Severe Weather
- If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 8:00 am a day before the Event, the Event will be cancelled.
- If the Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 4:00 am on the Event Day, the Event will be cancelled.
- If the race is cancelled due to the above Inclement Weather/Condition Warnings hoisting, enrollment fee will not be refunded.
- If the Hong Kong Observatory forecasts inclement weather on the day of the Event with a high likelihood of weather warnings being issued, the Event Director has the right to change the Event route or postpone the Event. The enrollment fee will not be refunded.
- Please check the weather on the Event Day from Hong Kong Observatory (Tel: 1878200).
Rules and Regulations
- Participants must complete the marked course on foot under their own power.
- Bibs are non-transferable.
- Bib numbers must be visible at all times on the outside of clothing (at the front).
- Doping and the use of prohibited drugs is strictly prohibited.
- The organizer reserve the right to make changes to the event rules and requirements, route and/or other arrangements as they deem appropriate.
Others
- Baggage storage will be provided. Please do not bring any valuable items. The Organizer is not responsible for the lost or damage of the baggage stored with us.
- Participants voluntarily enter the competition and agree to assume all responsibilities. Participants must also comply with the competition rules and decisions. In the event of any loss of property, injury, or death occurring during travel to and from the competition venue or during the competition, the organizing body, sponsors, and other relevant co-organizers shall not be held liable.
- Participants grant the organizer full and complete permission to utilize my appearance, name, voice and biographical material in connection with the event in any and all manner and media throughout the world in perpetuity, and for any and all publicity and promotional purposes. I/We agree to waive any right of inspection or approval associated thereto.
- Should there be any emergencies or assistance needed during the Event, participants shall contact the Event officials at the information centre.
- All prizes are not redeemable in cash.
- The Organizer reserves the right to all photos of the Event for future use and references.
- In the event of any disputes regarding awards and rankings, the event organizer reserves the final decision.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend or clarify the above race rules.
